Yay! Congrats. Walk, sip, and don't hesitate to ask for painkillers if you need them.

One of the nurses said to me: "The faster you are up and walking after surgery, the faster you will walk out of the hospital"... :)

That gas pain can be harsh but hopefully they will get you up and walking a bit to get it passing soon. You did it!! Congrats and rest now...healing time begins!
